Lovely rare pair antique green Jasper / Serpentine Melon Beads from the Himalaya region. Beads measure in diameter ca. 20mm, weight for both is ca. 20 gram. I aquired these beads about fifteen years ago in Malaysia from an antique dealer. These beads are antique or even ancient and are made of some dark green hardstone, most likely jasper or serpentine. This material is very close to the ancient hexagonal islamic jasper beads but these here have yellow flakes. Very nice rare beads
